When will the grass verges be cut?

The recent spate of warm weather has seen a sudden surge in the growth along the roadside verges.  Suffolk County Council (SCC) has published a schedule for 2018 grass verge cutting throughout the County. Anglia Level Crossing Strategy UPDATE

18 May 2018

Two years ago Network Rail put forward a proposal to either close or alter the status of some 31 level crossing throughout Suffolk as part of its Level Crossing Reduction Strategy.  Following public consultation the number of Suffolk level crossings taken forward to the Transport and Works Act Order (TWAO) stage was reduced to 23.  The proposals for these 23 crossings are now being considered at a public inquiry, which ends on 25 May.
